St Edmunds is located one minute from the junction of the M50 and N4, providing quick and easy access to locations around Dublin and beyond.
The city centre is just 9km away, around a 15 minute drive, while Dublin International Airport is a 15 minute drive along the M50, convenient for those city breaks. Already well served by good public transport the plan for a direct Metro West route to the Airport is sure to make this location even more desirable for city centre workers. Buses depart to and from the city centre approximately every five minutes, and are given priority during rush hour along the route's extensive bus corridors.
Buses connect with Heuston Station, allowing further connections with the LUAS Red Line or local and national train services. The area has an excellent network of on and off-road cycle and walking paths, including a double lane cycle-walkway from St. Edmunds to the Liffey Valley Centre.
In the near future the Liffey Valley will be connected to the city centre via a new LUAS line, running from Lucan to the city centre. Under the government's Transport 21 strategy due for completion in 2013.
